What we collect when you order
To deliver an order, Ambareen Mart needs your name, phone number, delivery address, and (optionally) your email and a note for the courier. We keep this with the order so we can deliver it, answer questions about it and meet our legal obligations. We do not collect card details: orders are paid in cash on delivery.
Your bag and wishlist are kept in your own browser. They are not sent to us until you place an order.
Cookies and advertising
Cookies that measure the shop or show you relevant ads are off until you accept. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the shop works the same either way.
If you accept, and depending on which services we have switched on, we use:
- Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API (Facebook and Instagram ads)
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking
- TikTok Pixel and the TikTok Events API
These record which pages and products you look at, and whether you add something to your bag, start checkout or place an order.
What is sent when you place an order
If you accepted marketing cookies, we also tell these services that an order happened, from our server as well as from your browser, so a sale is counted correctly even when ad blockers get in the way. That report contains the order value, the products, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your email, phone number, name, city and postcode, plus your IP address and browser details. It never contains your street address, your notes, or any payment details.
These services handle that information under their own privacy policies. If you reject marketing cookies, none of this is sent.
Your choices
You can change your cookie choice at any time with (also in the footer of every page). Withdrawing your consent removes the advertising cookies from this browser.
To ask what we hold about you, or to have an order's details corrected or deleted, please contact us and quote your order number.
